SUMMARY:Backpack Project
DESCRIPTION:The Backpack Project is an annual local initiative in its 14th year of operation. It provides backpacks full of necessities and comfort items on Christmas day to community members throughout the Greater Victoria region who are experiencing homelessness. The backpacks are delivered to local women’s and community shelters\, and are also handed out personally to people in the community that call the streets their home.
