Mark the locations of where you spot them on the map\, once you’ve found all 10 gnomes\, return the map to the Visitor Information Centre to receive a special gift.

DESCRIPTION:Fun with Fibre Cloth and Wood. Presenting new works by one wood sculptor and four fibre artists. Each person explore unique techniques much of the work is inspired by the beautiful natural environment of Vancouver Island. All five artists are in attendance daily and happily share their ideas and techniques. Visitors will see heliographic painting\, amazing machine stitching and flocks of birds receiving finishing touches.

SUMMARY:Adaptive and Inclusive Hiking with Power To Be
DESCRIPTION:Join CRD Regional Parks cultural programmer and Power to Be on a guided roll or stroll exploring a human history spanning thousands of years and how First Peoples deeply respect\, appreciate and celebrate gifts from forests\, rivers\, lakes and the sea. Power to Be will be providing two TrailRiders (a mobility device designed to explore nature) for participants. An inclusive hike for all ages and abilities\, there’ll be stops along the way to learn about the cultural significance of plants\, animals and the seasons. There is no fee for this program but you must pre-register and reserve a TrailRider by June 16\, as space is limited. TrailRiders are based on a first-come\, first-serve basis and your TrailRider is not confirmed until you have heard from us. \nTrail Description: Approximately 1km total distance. Trail with compact gravel surface with some tree roots and trail with dirt and tree roots\, slight incline. Accessible washroom available near parking lot. Four accessible parking stalls available in a large parking lot. Wheelchair accessible. \nPlease note: We like pets too. However\, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs\, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are\, of course\, welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Featuring Brandy Moore on vocals\, Tony Genge on jazz organ and Jon Miller on drums/percussion – performing soulful\, bluesy jazz/pop with stellar vocals and incredible musicianship!  \nBrandy Moore is an accomplished Canadian singer with a voice that moves seamlessly from jazz and soul to pop and adult contemporary. Expressive\, warm\, tender\, powerful… she sings with impeccable phrasing and delivers plenty of heart and soul. Brandy has performed internationally and has released 5 CDs to date. Her latest “Real Good Love” was recorded in Nashville with several prominent industry veterans including guitarist George Marinelli (Bonnie Raitt\, Bruce Hornsby & the Range) and Grammy-winning saxophonist Phil Kenzie (Paul McCartney\, The Eagles).  \nTony Genge is a leading Canadian jazz pianist and jazz organist. He began his career as a keyboard player in Vancouver in the 1970s\, later completed a Ph.D. in music\, and was for many years Professor of Jazz Studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. Today he maintains a busy performing career working with many local and international musicians. Over the years has performed with leading jazz artists including Eddie ‘Lockjaw’ Davis\, John Abercrombie\, Randy Brecker\, Paul Horn\, Peter Erskin\, P.J. Perry\, Jeff Hamilton\, Roberta Gamberini\, and many others. \nJon Miller is a McGill Jazz Performance graduate who has performed throughout Canada\, the US and Europe in a variety of genres with many renowned artists including Charlie Hunter\, Vic Vogel\, Hugh Fraser and Jeff Healey. Along with extensive freelance work and leading his jazz quartet (including 2 CD releases as leader) Jon is also a member of Scraps Arts Music and for many years held the drum chair with the Victoria Jazz Orchestra\, backing up distinguished artists including Alan Matheson\, Mike Allen\, Mike Herriot\, and Andrew Homzy. \nDoors open at 1.30pm  Free parking on site and wheelchair accessible.  \nTickets: $25\, Seniors & Students under 18: $20\, Children under 12: free\nTickets through St. Paul’s United Church\, Tanner Books\, Eventbrite
