SUMMARY:Our Living Languages
DESCRIPTION:This important and informative exhibit\, focuses on First People’s Voices in British Columbia\,  was previously featured at the Royal BC Museum but now shifts to Sidney from April 15 to July 24. Visitors can learn about efforts by First Nations communities around the province to preserve and enrich their languages. The exhibit is designed to honour the resilience and diversity of Indigenous languages in the face of change.

DESCRIPTION:A StoryWalk is a free\, innovative\, way for families to enjoy stories in the outdoors. Pages from a children’s book are hung on a fence or mounted to stakes on the ground.  As you stroll along the path\, you visit each page and enjoy the story in nature\, with your family. \nSaanich Peninsula Literacy in partnership with a variety of community organizations occasionally offers StoryWalks in local parks during the summer months. \nStoryWalk Kits are available to borrow at a local Greater Victoria Public Library.
