DESCRIPTION:This important and informative exhibit\, focuses on First People’s Voices in British Columbia\,  was previously featured at the Royal BC Museum but now shifts to Sidney from April 15 to July 24. Visitors can learn about efforts by First Nations communities around the province to preserve and enrich their languages. The exhibit is designed to honour the resilience and diversity of Indigenous languages in the face of change.

DESCRIPTION:Access Awareness Day brings together 10 speakers and dozens of vendors to bring awareness to the community about accessibility and how to decrease barriers to enable people to live a full life. \nFor National AccessAbility Week\,  Beacon Community Services\, with the Town of Sidney and SPARC BC\, are celebrating with Access Awareness Day at the SHOAL Centre. This one day EXPO will be Saturday\, June 1st from 10 am to 2 pm at 10030 Resthaven Drive. We will be hosting influential speakers throughout the day\, and over two dozen related vendors.
