SUMMARY:Our Living Languages
DESCRIPTION:This important and informative exhibit\, focuses on First People’s Voices in British Columbia\,  was previously featured at the Royal BC Museum but now shifts to Sidney from April 15 to July 24. Visitors can learn about efforts by First Nations communities around the province to preserve and enrich their languages. The exhibit is designed to honour the resilience and diversity of Indigenous languages in the face of change.

SUMMARY:West Coast Tug Boat Art Show
DESCRIPTION:This is my 4th \n \nChristina Morrison is the artist behind the “West Coast Tug Boat Project” – a collaborative painting initiative that seeks to capture all the working tug boats on the West Coast of British Columbia. Over the past four years\, Christina has completed 80 paintings\, drawing inspiration from photographs contributed by mariners and marine photographers. The ultimate aim of the project is to create a coffee table book that not only showcases all the paintings but also provides information on the tugs featured. The Annual West Coast Tugboat Show will be displaying some of Christina’s paintings\, and will be open from June 28th to July 4th\, between 10 am and 4 pm daily. \n\n\n
