DESCRIPTION:This important and informative exhibit\, focuses on First People’s Voices in British Columbia\,  was previously featured at the Royal BC Museum but now shifts to Sidney from April 15 to July 24. Visitors can learn about efforts by First Nations communities around the province to preserve and enrich their languages. The exhibit is designed to honour the resilience and diversity of Indigenous languages in the face of change.

DESCRIPTION:Reading is a superpower! Help us kick off this year’s Summer Reading Club with Batman and a few of his closest friends (and possibly a villain or two!) as they read stories\, make crafts\, and take some super hero selfies. No registration required. All ages welcome. \nThe Super Heroes of Victoria Volunteer Society started off as a small group of volunteers organizing a charitable event in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s “Be A Superhero Campaign.” They’ve been popping up doing “super” things for the community since 2009.
