DESCRIPTION:Exhibition Details: The Wild and the Cultivated is a collective show and sale featuring the work of three artists across different mediums. With pottery by Sonia Lesage\, jewellery by Busted Button\, and paintings by Arabella Young. These artists explore the wild and cultivated world around us. \nSonia creates earthy\, functional pottery with a soft\, west coast-inspired palette. Her simple forms and quiet designs reflect the subtle textures and rhythms of nature. Dot\, of Busted Button\, makes unique jewellery using dried flowers and playful elements that celebrate local landscapes and gardens. Arabella paints both the wild beauty of Vancouver and Vancouver Island\, and florals cultivated from her own garden. \nCome visit this unique collaboration and experience the latest work by these three artists.

(Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm) \n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a FREE course that will take place virtually on Zoom. *Please REGISTER HERE to receive the link and event material & updates. \nLearn all about greenhouse gardening with Master Gardener Richard Bernier. \n\n\n\nABOUT THE PRESENTER: \nRichard Bernier’s gardening hobby started as a preteen when one of his elderly neighbours hired him (his first job) to help them in their garden. They showed him what plants were weeds and directed him to a vegetable garden that was in dire need of weeding.  He gardened on and off until his teens when he discovered indoor plants. \nABOUT VIMGA: \nThe Vancouver Island Master Gardeners Association (VIMGA) is a chapter of the Master Gardeners Association\, an international service society of specially trained volunteers who teach science-based sustainable gardening practices to home gardeners. VIMGA is one of the 5 chapters in the British Columbia Association and partnering with the Victoria chapter\, specializes in the stewardship of Vancouver Island’s unique environment.
