DESCRIPTION:Health in Space: Daring to Explore is developed by the Canada Aviation and Space Museum\, part of Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation\, in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency. \nThe exhibit also features exclusive video interviews with Canadian astronauts\, including a special section dedicated to astronaut David Saint-Jacques’ recent mission. It will cover everything from his selection and rigorous training to the groundbreaking experiments he conducted while aboard the International Space Station (ISS). \n  \n

SUMMARY:Nature’s Attraction Artshow
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition Details: The ArtSea Gallery will be displaying two visual artists who will be selling paintings\, cards\, and fabric art wall hangings. Margo Styan’s fabric art consists of memories from her life including from her 2 decades spent in the Yukon\, now with many west coast influences. Many of the fabrics were hand-dyed by her husband\, and they continue to work together more and more. And Faith Livingstone’s impressionist style reflects her love of colour and whimsy. She has\, over the years\, worked in pastels\, oils\, mixed media\, watercolours and alcohol inks. She is currently working mainly in acrylics. Her subjects vary from landscapes to portraits\, to florals. Faith’s art has been juried into art shows in Winnipeg\, Manitoba (Winnipeg Sketch Club) Vancouver Island (Sooke Fine Arts Show and Victoria Federation of Canadian Artists) and the BC Interior (Federation of Canadian Artists OASIS and The Lake Country Art Walk). Faith has also had a number of successful shows in Victoria and Sidney BC. SUMMARY:Summer Sounds Concert Series - Naden Band
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 24\, 2025 @ 2pm- 4pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Naden Band in operation since 1940\, is comprised of thirty five professional full-time musicians. The Band performs in a variety of ensembles ranging from parade band and concert band to big band\, brass and woodwind quintets\, and rock and contemporary ensembles.
