DESCRIPTION:Shawn Hook began his musical journey at a very young age\, learning piano\, bass\, and trombone\, singing in a choir\, and enrolling in music composition class in high school. Born Shawn Hlookoff in South Slocan\, British Columbia\, he started college as a geological engineering major before committing full-time to music. He transferred to the Art Institute in Vancouver\, studying audio engineering and playing in a disco cover band called Shag. In 2020 Shawn released his debut single ‘I Don’t Wanna Dance’ on ULTRA records. DESCRIPTION:Via Choralis Choir joins Campus View Elementary School Choir for a beautiful concert at St. Elizabeth’s Church on Sunday\, November 27th at 3:30pm. Each choir will sing their own selections\, followed by mass numbers by both choirs. Via Choralis and the children would love to see you there! We are putting our efforts into supporting local Peninsula families who have registered with the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank to not only receive food hampers but gifts as well for children 0-18 years of age.\nWe are calling on our community and businesses to help us help others. Our professional show band includes accompanist\, Christie Norman; percussionist\, Terry Erskine; bassist Jennifer Bennett and violinist Hollas Longton. \nThis year we are pleased to feature the very impressive and accomplished Young Artists\, soprano\, Olivia Das and baritone\, Brendan Dawes.
