DESCRIPTION:The biggest car show in Sidney is returning this August and will have exceptional models of classic vehicles lined up from Mary Winspear to Small Gods Brewing in Sidney.  \nAdditionally\, food trucks and a beer garden will be available so you can enjoy the display and keep yourself fed and quenched all day long! \n\nWhere: Along Beacon Avenue between 5th Street and the waterfront\, Sidney\nWhen: Sunday\, August 6th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.\n\nSaturday promise to be lots of fun too\, with the Poker Run starting at 2pm and finishing on 3rd St in front of Beacon Brewing for a mini car show and block party. At 4pm we start up two movies in the Star Cinema – one for the kids and one for the kids at heart. There’s 40 seats in the kids theatre and 138 seats in the other so first come first served. Admission is a cash or non-perishable food item for the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank. \nThe street is closed Saturday night from 3pm until 9pm! So come on down and wander enjoy the evening amongst the cars! \n$20 Car Show Pre-Registration\, OR\, $30 at the gate.

Each show features original aerial and ground displays designed and choreographed to music\, by Jennie Butchart’s great-grandson\, Christopher Ross. Fireworks are included with your admission to The Gardens. \nFireworks are presented after weekly consultation with the Central Saanich Fire Department and may be cancelled due to extreme weather. Sue’s soulful voice\, earthy slide guitar playing\, and ‘outlaw country’ songwriting sensibility make for a powerful combination.
