Join us for a captivating documentary screening of Send Kelp, where you’ll follow the journey of Frances Ward, a “Seaweed Nerd” and adventurer, as she sets out to build a kelp farm off the stunning coast of Vancouver Island.
Stick around for a special Q&A session with Frances and the filmmaker, Blake McWilliam, after the film!
Hosted by Back Road Productions at the Star Cinema as part of Ocean Week Victoria. Sunday, June 9 at 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets are available in advance on Eventbrite for $12 or at the door for $15.
Proceeds from the screening will be donated to kelp reforestation initiatives in BC!
