Peninsula Celebrations Society
The Peninsula Celebrations Society is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that has been bringing community events and family-friendly celebrations to Sidney and the Saanich Peninsula for over 40 years. Known for organizing many of the region’s most beloved events, including the Canada Day Parade, Summer Sounds concert series, Sidney Sparkles Holiday Parade and Polar Bear Swim, the society creates opportunities for residents and visitors to connect, celebrate and build community spirit. Through its wide range of free, inclusive events, the Peninsula Celebrations Society plays a vital role in fostering local pride and vibrant cultural life across the Peninsula.
